At first glances, Catrina could be seen as a regular ol' Litwick, but closer inspections would show that she's a bit taller than the average Litwick with both eyes visible and a heart shaped pattern in the flame. Catrina also faintly smells of pine at the moment, likely due to her consumption of said tree parts like the pinecones. Just an awful Litwick, why would you ever want to be around this creature?!

(This is a fusion of world building between an incredibly good friend of mine that formed Doriene and my own world building for the Xana Kingdom)
Doriene in General:
a. Constructs-
b. Familiars- https://dollmancer.dreamwidth.org/2861.html
c. Talents- Depending if one wants to do a gashapon deal for their character or have their character's ability still there. In Doriene, everyone born there has a special magical ability called a talent that is uniquely theirs. If you want your character to receive a special ability, one hundred percent, there will be a random roll for what new ability your character will have. It should be noted that talents can range from 'I can make fruit appear!' to 'I steal youth from others to maintain my life indefinitely.'
d. Totems- An enchanted piece of jewelry that allows the wearer to assume a humanoid form (or a different species if the environment demands it like Mermari) to interact with the outside world.
e. The Twin Moons- Often called 'The Night Eyes' in Xana, Doriene has two moons in its night sky. They are held in high regards or distain by the lycanthropes in this setting while citizens in Xana worship the Night Eyes due to being night blind and having to relay on the light of the Twin Moons for visibility.
f. The Deities-
g. Mermari- Ever wanted to go to an underseas version of Los Vegas with the seedy underbelly to go with it? Well you're in luck with Mermari! Located off the coast of Xana, there's the visitor's center that resembles an oceanic observatory lab where folks can get a special totem that turns them into deep sea merfolks in order to descend underwater for Mermari. If someone is unable to use a Totem, the alternative option present is being stuffed in a rental bubble to tour the underwater city in.
The Kingdom of Xana:
a. The Floating Cities-
1. Estrella Del Rio: From above it looks like fish swimming down the river and the coloration is very much like the beloved book character, Rainbow Fish. There are two towers on the head part of the City/village that are spaced apart and have red glass domes on the top, making it look like the eyes on the fish. The docking bay is located by the fins part of the city/village and is a popular trading area for merchants. Estrella Del Rio is famously known for its Lunar Festivals celebrating the longer nights ahead for the Twin moon deities and hopes for brighter full moons to guide their way at night. It's also considered one of the top places to be in for magic practitioners, having one of the top magical colleges in the setting of Doriene. This is where Catrina and her family lives in after the disaster that befell Ventana Del Alma.
2. Ventana Del Alma:
3. Joya De La Corona Del Rio: This is the royal capital city from where Catrina’s homeland is. There is a wall-like barometer surrounding the city that resembles a crown where the city inside resembles closely like the royal orb up from above. This is the biggest cultural must visit next to Estrella Del Rio and formerly Ventena Del Alma (before being quarantined for vampires and mutants) due to the multiple cultural sites and a lot of the noble families living there such as the Muertes and the Crown Royal Family. Now, from the side view upon entering the city, one will notice that the way Joya De La Corona Del Rio is structured, it's a build up of layers of homes and buildings that dome all the way to the castle at the top of it. In short it's a half sphere with a castle on top. The bottom to mid tier houses and buildings are jewel tone in colors while the upper tiers and castle are a near iridescent white, think diamonds with the iridescent shifts. The nobles and the royal families all have seals that are their signature for just about everything from their order forms to being used in place of their names when addressing a letter. Seals are also something used big time when trying to get into big social events for the upper tiers. All of the royals, nobles, and civilian population are noticeably taller than the normal ahuizotl due to both access to higher nutritional value foods and genes.
b. The Tree Top Cities- Originally, the entire kingdom once lived in the rainforest, having sprawling cities built upon the trees themselves. Ahuizotls originally and still are a tree dwelling species, its within their instincts to climb either on buildings or on one another is there's no real thing to climb on. When the Night Cape came, it became increasingly dangerous to continue living in the tree top cities, thus a majority opted to move for the floating cities. There are some tree top cities that are still alive to this day, but for the most part, the others are treated like archeological sites in Xana.
1. Arbol De Las Constelaciones:
c. The Lake Community-
d. The Roaming City of Oriana- A lost city once ruled by a legendary gold dragon called Orthar The Wisen for many millennia. It is a circular maze-like city on top of a mobile Jaguar statue that has some flicks and glimmers of golden ore embedded into the stone works. In the center of the city is the marble statue of Orthar the Wisen both as a dragon and as their human form. It smells faintly of cinnamon and nutmeg for some unknown reason. Oriana was once a thriving paradise of a city known for its trade in high quality golden jewelry and their spices located in the tropics. It thrived for thousands of years under the rule of Orthar the Wisen who had ruled their city fair and justly before they passed from old age. When Orthar passed, the roaming city became lost in the mists produced by the dragon as a protective barrier from raiders and soon Oriana was simply just a tale to tell to young children. Legend has it that those who find the city and figure a way into the underground palace of Orthar the Wisen would either find riches beyond imagination or curses beyond comprehension depending on the ones who have entered.
e. The Old Kingdom (THE KINGDOM OF THE DAMNED!~)-
f. The Northern Deserts-
1. Serpent's Venom Mesa: The humble desert town of Serpent’s Venom had its original start of being one of those terrible law abiding towns before the local Crime Baron overthrew both the tyrannical rule of the mayor and the flea riddled sheriff roughly a century ago. The town ever since liberating itself from the grasps of law and order has become the most ideal small town spot for criminals as well as their families. Almost everyone you meet in town are either a royal descendant of the Crime Baron, a mercenary, unlicensed medical practitioner, thieves, and at least one arsonist. The only one in town with no criminal background or heritage is the town’s cantina owner, Saguaro the cactus construct. Saguaro is the town’s sweetheart and voted most attractive citizen in town. Seriously, townsfolk would get insanely jealous if Saguaro hugged someone that wasn’t one of them. The town is about nine miles from the banks of the Brilliant Blue River and a bit of a climb to reach the top of the mesa.

Xana's Currency (High School Geometry coming back with a Vengeance)
a. Platinum Jumping Gem- About the size of a baseball, this thing is like five hundred grands and is only used by the super rich like nobility or royalty. Unlike the coins that are clipped, the platinum jumping gem is shaved in currency exchanges.
b. Gold Coin- Roughly the size of a Subway cookie, the gold coins are the equivalent of a fifty USD. On the front of the coin is an image of a parrot with its wings opened up and its facing forward as though about to land. On the back is a multi petaled flower surrounded by vines and leaves.
c. Silver Coin- Roughly the size of an Oreo cookie, the silver coins are are the equivalent of a twenty USD. On the front is two bell shaped flowers drooped from side to side, facing away from one another. On the back is a stylized version of the Night Eyes gazing down as light beams from them with a star standing between the Eyes.
e. Starbug Pebbles- Carved from jade in the shape of a starbug, they're the equivalent of a quarter.
f. Rollie Pebbles- Carved from smokey quartz in the shape of a rollie bug, they're the equivalent of a penny.
g. Ladybug Pebbles- Carved from garnet in the shape of a ladybug, they're the equivalent of a dime.
h. River Rose Pebbles- Carved from moonstone in the shape of a river rose flower, this is the equivalent of a half penny. They're slowly getting discontinued in Xana..
Xana's Culture
a. The Lunar Cycles-
b. Holidays and Festivals-
1. Festival De Los Ojos Más Brillantes: A major holiday celebration that takes place on the first Twin Full Moons of the winter season. In general it's very much like carnival with the brightly colorful costumes and masks with plenty of vendors as well as storytellers in all of the floating cities. The castle and the Nobles Quarters' buildings get special lights that change the colors of the normally white buildings for a kaleidoscope-like effect with the color shifting.
2. Eyed Wanderings Festival: This festival is very much like Halloween with the horror aspects of the holiday, basically a day when the Eyed (A Demon) are much more present and hostile where offerings to the Sighted (A Blessed Dead) are meant as a way to bribe the Sighted to keep the Eyed at Bay. Ghost stories such as the Eyed or Eeljaw for example are popular stories told by storytellers during this festival. Candied eyes and chocolate covered spice truffles are popular food items during it.
3. Coronation Day: The entire cities is decked out in white florals as well as decorations upon a Royal Coronation Day and is absolutely expected to wear white on that day. The ceremony starts at the very top of the city where the castle is where the passing of the torch ceremony takes place where the resigning ruler passes the crown over to the crowned heir before being presented to the court as the new king, ruler, or queen. From there, the new ruler and retired ruler are taken around the city in chariot to be viewed by their subjects before completing the journey to the Marina to see the resigned ruler off to enjoy a royal voyage to kick off the retirement.
4. Royal Weddings: Royal weddings are treated like a national holiday for all of the floating villages and cities on the river. Decorations and fireworks are color matched to the royal couple’s wedding colors they’ve chosen. The ceremony starts at the Constellation Theatre rather than the castle where the royal family and the higher ranking nobles attend the wedding. Once the vows are exchanged, the couple is off to the Marina to fanfare from the city as they go to sail off to get the congratulations from the villages and cities on the river as a huge party is held on the ship. The night skies are lit up with fireworks to conclude the celebration. There are special commemorative keepsake porcelain cakes that are highly sought after for the collectors value.
5. Royal Funerals: Like the weddings, the funerals are treated like a national holiday as well. Purple and gold are both very prominent colors used in the procession. Ceremonial masks are worn by the pull barriers as they carry the funerary glass casket with the deceased inside of it surrounded with purple and gold flowers. The empty eye sockets are covered over with a purple silk band with golden embroidered eyes as a representation of their accession into becoming a Sighted. From the death to the wake and finally the funeral, it is a week-long affair.
c. Cuisine- Being on the massive river in a tropical jungle region, expect a lot of sea food based cuisine such as eel stew, a popular dish during the Rainy Season. Another common staple is eyeballs, they are held in high regards and is considered important to have in meals. There are specialty spoons meant for eyeballs consumption, other times some folks will just eat like an apple. Meat dishes are relatively scarce, often meat being a luxury item as seen in the capital city.

Pokemon: Gytrash Gurt-Dog (Hisuian Zorua)

Being described as a grease ball both metaphorically and literally is an understatement. There is a chance that he was found in a garbage can, dumpster diving if you will, before getting handed over to Catrina as her starter Pokemon. Gytrash is a nasty piece of work and is pretty hard to look at (he's an ugly sort of cute if you're willing to get past the disgusting greasiness). Catrina absolutely loves this awful little abomination though, so that's something..I guess.
Attacks: Scratch, Leer, Torment, Hone Claw, Shadow Sneak, and Curse.
Pokemon: Annabelle Lee (Shinx)

The only normal Pokemon on Catrina's team, declared an honorary undead scourge so Anna didn't feel left out. Anna is pretty much your standard Shinx saved for the skull collar she had on that has a little jingle bell inside. Annabelle Lee is a pretty stern Shinx, though will snicker with or at Gytrash or Catrina sometimes. Other than that, a pretty reserved Pokemon that Annabelle Lee is.
Attacks: Tackle, Leer, Thunder Shock, Charge, Bite, and Spark.
Pokemon: Smokey Joe (Litwick)

The most violent little Litwick Catrina could've found at the Sprout Tower in Violet City. Smokey isn't afraid to play dirty, just a vicious little thing. Why would you ever want this awful creature on your team?
Attacks: Astonish, Smog, Ember, Minimize, and Confuse Ray
Pokemon: The All Divine Trash Heap or 'TAD TH' for Short (Trubbish)

Attacks: TBA

Apr. 17th, 2025 04:16 pmCharacter Info
Name: Catrina Muerte Calavera (Or Cat for short)
Age: 30
Height: 4'10"
Gender: Female
Species: Ahuizotl
Appearance: Her image is on her Character Reference :3
Hair Color: Midnight blue
Eye color: Ocean Blue
Special Note/Incase it's still there: Catrina’s species are highly toxic amphibians. The levels of toxicity are completely depending on if it's a no kill game or a game where you can get killed. If it's no kill, Catrina is either magically no longer toxic or the toxic flesh only causes nasty rashes. If it’s a setting characters can die in, the full toxicity factor is still intact and would need to be bathed in vodka to kill it off from a character’s skin. Catrina also has three absolute sewer gremlin levels of bone clay familiars named Estelle, Danza, and Canto that are normally around her (They will be depending on what setting Cat is played in though, they might not be there with her.)
IC
Hugging: Absolutely! Just be prepared for what levels toxicity your character may receive from Catrina (Ahuizotls have highly toxic flesh like poison dart frogs, depending where she lands in games, it could give a really nasty rash if its no kill or is actually deadly if the games permit it)
Kissing: Taken and you wouldn’t want to kiss Catrina..like at all, seriously no you don’t want to kiss a toxic amphibian.
Flirting: You can, but be prepared to be turned down, Catrina is taken.
Romance: One of my dearest friends has a ship with Catrina, so that’s a big no for her on the romance.
Sex: She’s taken by someone else :x Nope.
Fighting: YES! Just as a heads up, Catrina is the kind to use a psychological scare tactic first before anything serious is brought out (like necromancy or turning a heart beat into a sonic boom with sound defect if its an enemy NPC D: If this unsettles you, please do bring it up and we can plan something else entirely. )
Injury: Of the slapstick kind most certainly! Of the action kind, let’s talk about it first before going through with it.
Death: Nope, no murder for the horrid blue gremlin and her equally terrible homemade monsters.
Mind Reading: It’s at your own risk, Catrina is studying necromancy under a Lich King, you may get knowledge you wished you didn’t know :x That and her upbringing was awful..please use discretion if you decide to mind read her and give me the heads up what you prefer not to see.
Other: Asides from having absolutely toxic flesh you do not want to handle without a hazmat suit, Catrina is a chaotic little booger that likes to use sound defect when bored to amuse herself. Having a deep conversation about the meaning of the universe? Too bad, Catrina made it sound like a full on barnyard. Cat might try and get your character to eat an eyeball, but that’s not something that happens every day…I hope. She also sings opera! Be prepared for Catrina to do bard things like singing.

Backtagging: Yes please :3
Threadhopping: I'm on the shy side of things as I'm still new, so I'm more likely to start my own responses rather than jump into existing threads. I’m slowly getting used to it and will be specifying which of my posts will allow a thread jump.
Fourthwalling: OC, she won't know anyone else unless my friend joins Dreamwidth and brings his characters in from the same setting she came from.
CRAU: The only ones that would be brought with Catrina if permitted are her three terrible familiars, Estelle, Danza, and Canto. They’re absolutely optional though if Catrina needs to be a single entity with the familiars only being brought in for fourth wall events if that’s allowed. If the mods do want the familiars in but not in their OG format, I’m open to altering them to fit in like say they end up being digital pets of some kind to fit in better for example.
Off-Limits: Catrina is spoken for, so no shipping or adult play for her out of respect for my friend.
Other: Is your character also a horrid sewer levels of gremlinness too? I’m open for making them friends with one another so they can both be turbo sewer gremlins besties :D
Opt in: As mentioned multiple times, Catrina is taken by my friend’s OC and isn’t available for ships nor adult play stuff. Catrina is open for friendships though! I’m very much on board for chaotic gremlin levels of tomfoolery right there.

Description: Estelle is a bone clay familiar done in the similar style of Danza and Canto, though her appearance resembles a kitten with two fluffy tails. Estelle’s clay is a unique mixture compared to other bone clay familiars that can absorb and neutralize radiation, making her safe to handle. The only thing unsafe about Estelle is the plant she is fused with, Kitten’s Paw. Kitten’s Paw is a species of pitcher plants native in more temperate countries that are exclusively found near plutonium deposits. It is well known for its insanely powerful digestive acids inside that can melt bone. Estelle is able to manipulate the plant as tendrils for gripping or growing to massive sizes that can easily fit a whole person inside. Clothing wise, Estelle prefers turn of the century looking outfits that can handle the mad science experiments. Estelle is eccentric and has an intense love of science along with inheriting Catrina’s chaotic good spirit.
Bio: Now that is a Secret~
Inherited Special Ability: Sound Defect

Description: A nauseating little shit of a bone clay familiar, Danza is pretty much the epitome of middle child syndrome. Although no one outside of Catrina, Scal, and other familiars understands what Danza is saying, it’s insanely clear that Danza has a major toilet mouth by the reaction shortly after. Danza likes to keep their spectral hair in that short messy style as well as preferring comfortable clothing that makes it easy for them to commit crimes. Each outfit Danza has is enchanted with a hammer space along the interior lining, making it easy for Danza to pull out knives or store stolen goods. When traveling, specifically, when Catrina goes to her Magical College classes or Library, Danza and Estelle are normally nested inside of the coffin shaped backpack Catrina owns.
Bio: Danza was the first bone clay familiar Catrina made shortly after her adventures on the Pry Gala. Downside was, the hair used in Danza wasn’t Catrina’s, however, instead it was Scal’s hair by mistake. Thinking (hoping) the trait was a positive one of Scal’s like his humor or loyalty, Catrina had no clue that Danza would end up being an absolute little monster. So far of being alive for a year and a half, Danza has been incarcerated about three times with one ongoing investigation involving a baby theft.
Inherited Special Ability: Key Master

Description: Canto is a very posh and refined little bone clay familiar, often clad to impress with highly fashionable clothing with a purse to match. Because of the expensive taste, Canto is often very strict when it comes to her income as a familiar, often saving up every money earned to go towards purchasing brand name fashion or trips to the fashion boutiques. Because of how new of a bone clay familiar Canto is, she is very insecure about the dead fish smell that comes with it. The spectral flame around Canto’s face gives her a very yorkie-like look with the beard and does prefer being viewed as being based on a purse dog. Because of the high fashion preference, Canto travels in a designer purse they bought for Catrina to ride in for the college and library.
Bio: Canto was made about three months after Danza was created, this time on purpose with the hair of Throk. It had been hoped that having a familiar sibling with a bit of Throk thrown in there would likely either keep Danza in line or hopefully mellow the little shit out. It worked, to a degree. Danza was kept in line by their younger sister’s brutality if money was involved and Danza was eying it. Danza and Canto do get into little slapping fights that last about a minute or two before Danza goes off sulking elsewhere. Canto is considered popular at the college Catrina goes to for the insanely adorable yorkie-like appearance they have and generally the calm demeanor.
Inherited Special Ability: Name to be Announced (A Wood Manipulation power)

Bio: Catrina Calavera was born as the middle child of Maria and Jose Calavera. Fernando is the eldest brother while the youngest and most horrific abomination of a sister was Lola. The Calavera family in Ventana Del Alma, a floating city in the Xana region on the Brilliant Blue River, had been the oldest and richest families in Ventana Del Alma. The family’s rise to wealth started back about three thousand years ago during a conflict between an Elven country of Claradonnis and Xana when the family founder organized the battle of Ventanna Del Alma. From there, the Calavera family would grow in both power and wealth, especially in the cleaning product industry as well as the hella sketchy mafia business. Now, the mafia business was an unspoken knowledge in the area, it was fairly balanced too before Maria married in from the noble family, Muertes. Moment the marriage was finalized, Maria ordered a hit on the current family head, her father inlaw and took over the mafia business with cold ease. Because Jose never had a spine along with having relied solely on his father’s wealth, Maria had a very easy time keeping Jose in line with cold hard cash and some play things every so often. Ventana Del Alma was in a vice-like grip from the Calaveras, anyone that went out of line either had their finances strangled or disappeared mysteriously all together. You can imagine how well that horrifying power dynamic affected Catrina and her siblings.
Fernando was originally supposed to be the heir to the Calavera family head, taking on the wealth and business, however, Fernando would end up being an absolute disappointment in Maria’s eyes due to his ‘quirks’. This along with other factors (such as resemblance and operatic talent), Catrina was strongly favored by Maria as the replacement heir. From a young age, Catrina had been trained as an opera singer due to her natural vocal talents and her ability, Sound Defect. Catrina’s childhood wasn’t all work though, not by any short means, she ended up having a very strong bond with her older brother, Fernando and often went with him to Lupe’s growing up. Lupe, the tavern owner in town, had been very much the parent Catrina needed in her life and still views Lupe as her parent to this day. This shielded Catrina from most of the awful going ons at home for a good chunk of time, until Catrina turned fourteen. At that point, Maria had given her third child, Lola, an absolutely green child that mortified the mafia head to no end. It was during one of these bouts of Maria’s madness when the incident happened. Catrina has no clue what happened or what argument led to it, but that night, her brother, Fernando, lost a chunk of his antenna after getting into a fight with Maria and ran away from Ventana Del Alma.
For the next five years, since Fernando was no longer there, Maria moved Catrina in the position of taking over the family business and wealth, thus commencing the demanding regiments that came with it. Catrina would often slip away at night to go to Lupe’s when she had the chance and slowly started making plans of escape with them. It didn’t help matters much either with Lola’s disturbing disposition becoming more obvious as time went on and Catrina was growing fearful of the youngest. Finally, on her eighteenth birthday, Catrina executed her escape plan on the night of her opera performance. Catrina had been practicing a spell of sorts, a sleep spell if one had to be specific that put the audience, her monster mother included, to sleep. With that, Catrina ran off to Lupe’s and managed to get help with catching a ship out of Xana. For the next eleven years, Catrina survived on being a traveling bard of sorts, often changing troupes due to incidents like driving a band of bandits into madness after changing their heart beats into screams of the damned through sound defect. Of all that travel, one goal was still in Catrina’s mind, finding Fernando and reuniting with him. On her last year of traveling by foot, Catrina ended up joining the crew of the Pry Gala as entertainment given that Scal, the ship’s first mate, took a liking to Cat’s absolute gremlin child energy. From there, Cat started to kinda mellow out (not a lot, she still terrorized her crewmates with her shenanigans like Koda, Koda was not thrilled with that one :( ). Back home, Maria started making plans to bring Catrina back home as Jose..Jose abused his special ability to the point his genetic structure was unstable and was actively dying. It was the prime time to get Catrina home to take over the family name along with an arranged marriage. Fliers were distributed throughout all sea ports of Catrina’s image on them with a reward for her safe return home. Rightfully, Catrina freaked out, to the point she did something that’ll haunt her dreams. Scal, having run into Maria years ago during a botched robbery, ended up showing Catrina how he managed to avoid being found by the horrifying mafia matriarch for so long.
Taking Catrina below deck, Scal showed her the worst magic item ever made, a little black gemstone of sorts that he wrapped Catrina’s Totem with before having her perform a little ritual with him. Catrina learned that day two things, that black gemstone likes to cause pain, lots and lots of pain along with rapidly aging Scal further into an old man. Turns out, Scal had used this stone before and it rapidly aged him into being an older middle aged guy to avoid being found by Maria the first time. Good news though for Catrina, her Totem can turn her fully human complete with warm blood and a guilty conscious of what she did to Scal :D This plan lasted for a bit until they reached Bearrest. Bearrest sure was a thing with Maria, Jose, and Jose’s horrific goon, Creepy Eddy suddenly being there. This turned into a full blown horror show battle of sorts what with Jose’s body finally breaking down into a putrid goo of sorts during the fight, Creepy Eddy doing unforgivable things to orphans via fusing them with aquatic life, and ultimately, Creepy Eddy dying horribly due to heavily mutating himself into a mishmash of things…Creepy Eddy didn’t think that one through. Catrina could breathe for now, the only threats now was mother dearest being still alive along with the possibility of Maria sending in the family monster, Lola. Not long after this incident the miraculous happened, Catrina found her brother Fernando! Bad news, he had pissed off an entire ship of skeletons after hitting on the Captain’s younger brother. So Catrina and her crewmates had to fight off a skeleton ship to save Fernando from being rotted to the bone (no seriously, one of the skeletons had a rot sword of awfulness.)
After that battle, the crew was unharmed and Fernando was very, VERY lucky to be alive as well as not being an undead skeleton goon. With a tearful reunion, the crew carried on with Fernando on board, proving that he was indeed, far more of a horrible gremlin than she was (He stole an entire thing of chocolate chip muffins in one go, stuffing them in his cheeks like a chipmunk.) When the voyage ended (Specifically after making a wish that Maria would turn into a slug and Lola into a pillar of salt, thus killing them both at the same time), Catrina returned home with Fernando to live with Lupe. Things were peaceful for the whole year with Maria, Jose, and Lola gone finally to the point Lupe could hire another coworker, Bones. However, good things never last and all too soon, during the holiday of De Las Ojo Mas Brilliantes, hell broke loose in Ventana Del Alma. Vampires and mutated abominations were released upon the general public, it was pure pandemonium with many lives lost during it. Catrina as well as her found family had to fight their way out of Ventana Del Alma with the help of Scal and Throk. Good news though, Scal managed to reverse the rapidly age state he was in and is now young again due to it. They managed to escape the ensuing chaos and moved right into Estella Del Rio, a huge floating city that’s major for magic users. Currently, Catrina is enjoying her college life learning to be a necromancer, though, something just doesn’t seem right with Lupe…what could ever be wrong with Lupe?
